Description:
The County Noxious Weed Department is responsible for the control and eradication of noxious weeds on all rural property within Hamilton County as required by state law K.S.A. 2-1318. The control and eradication assistance may be by recommended procedures or by the sale of recommended herbicides. In an effort to serve the public efficiently, one person shares the responsibility of being secretary for Noxious Weed and Road & Bridge making a unique and workable relationship between the two departments.
Cost Share for Prairie Dog Control:

To better serve the landowners of Hamilton County the county will cost share on the chemical Rozol to help to eradicate the invasion of prarie dogs in Hamilton County.
Cost Share for Noxious Weed Control:
The County will cost share 20% of approved chemicals
